Mae’s Room & Ksalsuti Space

A Safe Space for Lactation and Infant Feeding

Mae’s Room is a safe, comfortable and easily accessible space for those who are postpartum and returning to work or school. The space allows the CBU Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios, including employees and students, to feed their babies or pump milk in two settings:

  • Privately behind a closed, locked door to allow for a quiet, peaceful space for parent and infant(s)
  • Within a collaborative shared space that will allow for Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios connection.

  • Large, comfortable rocking chair
  • Fridge for milk storage
  • Breastmilk storage bags
  • Educational pamphlets/posters
  • Bottle warmer
  • Change table
  • Playpen
  • Breast pads
  • Baby wipes
  • Breast pump wipes
  • Sound machine
  • Microwave
  • Toys/books

Ksalsuti Space

In the event that there is no space available in Mae’s Room, students and employees can visit the Ksalsuti Space, a secondary safe space for lactation and infant feeding.
