Confidentiality
CBU understands that confidentiality is key in making campus 蘑菇视频ios members feel safe and encouraged to disclose experiences of sexual violence. Before you disclose or report to anyone, you have the right to discuss confidentiality with them. Should you choose to disclose to CBU Sexual Violence Prevention,聽they will explain confidentiality and its limits, privacy and how records are managed at CBU.
In rare cases, the University may be required to take action based on the information received. This may happen when:
- There is an immediate threat of physical harm to the reportee or another person
- A court order is received (information shared in this instance may include notes taken regarding a disclosure, reports made to Campus Security or a counselling file)
- The incident involves explicit photos or videos of a minor
- You are under the age of 16
- You are under the age of 19 and the person who hurt you is a parent or guardian
If any of these situations apply to your case, you will be fully informed of the implications to confidentiality and you will be supported throughout the entire process.
